70 MB Event

Schiphol Group approached D&B Eventmarketing with the following task: develop an original concept to celebrate the completion of their 70 MB programme that focuses on thanking all involved parties and that highlights their pride in this project. Our creative team came up with a unique concept that showcased the project and the participating parties at an on-site location.

70 MB The 70 MB project, which aims to connect the baggage claim areas at Schiphol, was more than a decade in the making. This prestigious project had three goals: more baggage capacity (from 50 million to 70 million pieces per year!), greater innovation, and higher quality. Its completion marked the end of the ten-year 70 MB project, a milestone that Schiphol wanted to celebrate.
100 lights 15 metres of conveyor belts
Concept The theme 'Destination 70 MB: Mission Completed' aptly reflected the purpose of the event. Recognizable elements and the innovative transport system came to life in the catering, the design, and the programme itself. During the grand opening, a special video production was supported with a live performance by percussionists on 70 MB parts. The guests were reminded of their work in a playful manner throughout the event. And proud they should be!
