The 25th anniversary edition of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award was a festive celebration of entrepreneurship and connectedness. With the theme ‘Unstoppable Together’, D&B Eventmarketing brought entrepreneurs together in an impressive event full of inspiration, networking opportunities and impact.

The customer's question

EY wanted to organize an unforgettable anniversary event to celebrate 25 years of Entrepreneur Of The Year. The goal: to profile the award as the entrepreneurial award of the Netherlands, strengthen the network and position EY as an indispensable partner for enterprising Netherlands. The challenge? An inspiring concept that makes both a festive and substantive impact.

Our proposal

D&B Eventmarketing created a total concept in which the power of collaboration was central. Our approach:
Theme integration: The concept ‘Unstoppable Together’ was implemented in all facets, from branding to performances and speakers.
Strengthening networking moments: Through the walking dinner and inspiring keynotes, entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to make valuable connections and learn from each other’s successes.
Visual spectacle: Interactive LED walls and performances created a wow effect, while the starling flock as a symbol ensured recognisability and coherence.
Celebrating an anniversary: ​​By linking a unique experience to the history of EY and its entrepreneurial award, the event became not only a celebration, but also a lasting memory.
D&B responded to the customer’s request with an event that made both a substantive and emotional impact.

The event

On this special evening, 12 finalists came together in Studio 21 for a spectacular award show. Under the leadership of presenter Diana Matroos, four prizes were awarded, including the new Social Impact Award. Entrepreneurs networked during a walking dinner, enjoyed an inspiring keynote by Michelin chef Joris Bijdendijk, and experienced an energetic performance by freerunners.
