Movement 3.0 had gone through a turbulent time due to changes in the healthcare sector. Management has set a new course, which is not only the direction that Movement 3.0 wants to go, but is also an important step in the connection between the organization. The challenge is to effectively involve employees and volunteers in these changes, not only to inform them, but also to enthuse them. The strength of Movement 3.0 lies in the involvement of staff and volunteers, and the goal is to build a strong community in which they feel heard and are proud of their contribution to healthcare.

The customer's question

How do you celebrate a milestone like a 15-year anniversary and at the same time lay a foundation for the future? Movement 3.0 wanted to thank, involve and inspire employees and volunteers to move together towards an innovative and sustainable healthcare sector.

Our proposal

Movement 3.0 wants to move towards the future together, in transition, in motion. Involvement is very important for this. And involvement starts with involving, that is why we are going ‘Together in Motion, with each other, for each other’. Together heart for care and well-being. We started the event with a warm welcome and ‘attention for you’. Employees were received enthusiastically and received compliments from the compliment ladies. During the opening words of thanks and appreciation were expressed, and an ode was paid to the care professionals. We then shifted the focus to the future, with ‘attention for tomorrow’. We did this by means of interactive sessions based on the six themes of the new course, where valuable input and inspiration was collected. After each session, employees were given the opportunity to complete a survey, to reflect on what could be improved, with a view to ‘attention for tomorrow’. We concluded with ‘attention for each other’. During lunch or drinks, employees drew their sustainable future. Then there was the drawing of movement, a creative twist of shuffleboard, table tennis, climbing and Twister. The evening was festively concluded with a DJ, where everyone could choose their favorite record, a silent disco, karaoke and a photo booth, so that everyone could enjoy the ‘attention for each other’ in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

The event

In the preliminary phase, sustainability was central: digitally focused, no waste and a smart production using course trainers. The first phase ‘attention for you’ was also included in the preliminary phase, by means of a personal web page, the possibility to indicate interest in the themes, passing on catering requests and a personal reminder.

 

The flow of the event: thanking – involving – moving. At the opening, the employees were thanked (attention for you), then they were involved in the future of Movement 3.0 (attention for tomorrow) and finally, the employees started moving together (attention for each other).

The results

The impact of ‘Samen in Beweging’ was tangible and measurable:

  • 1,000 involved participants who actively contributed to the new course.
    Concrete ideas and insights incorporated into the strategy.
    High satisfaction rate, with participants who felt valued and inspired.
